1 of 500 – 1982 Puch Magnum Limited

Post Listing Update: This Puch Magnum Limited did not get any interest at the opening bid of $1,500.

Puch ended their venerable Magnum line of mopeds with a limited production run of 500 – these were called the LTD or Limited. It was basically a Magnum MKII with special cosmetics and a numbered plaque – this one is 147 out of 500, though the engine is no longer original.

The LTD got a ZA50 engine with oil injection and a 2-speed transmission. Ever bike was in the quirky metallic cream color, and an optional tach was offered – it’s very rare to find the tach nowadays. This example is said to have all original bodywork, though the motor is now a ‘race built’ Athena 70cc motor (still utilizing the original case). It’s got a Proma exhaust, brand new tires/wheel bearings, and a TrailTek head temperature gauge.
