1932 Raleigh MH32

Post Listing Update: This MH32 did not meet reserve with 1 bid up to $20,000 on eBay.

According to the seller, this is the only Raleigh MH32 in the US. It was restored by Revival Cycles over 6 years at a claimed cost of over $36,000. Afterwards, the bike was shown at the Handbuilt Motorcycle Show and the Harvest Classic.

This example (VIN: ZC2462) is a runner that’s currently stored inside the seller’s house. All restoration receipts are included. Raleigh ended motorcycle production in 1933, so this would be one of the last bikes they ever produced – they would continue on with bicycles for many years. The MH32 features a 496cc overhead valve single, and unfortunately I haven’t been more information on the model. The seller once wrote up a short tour of his garage for the Motorcycle Sport Touring Association which is worth a look, his Raleigh is briefly mentioned but it’s clear that this is a gentleman who loves bikes.
