Iso was a automobile and motorcycle manufacturer that was best known for creating the Isetta and a string of performance cars like the Grifo, with beautiful Italian bodywork wrapped around American muscle car engines. But between ’48 and ’61, Iso released a series of small, durable (and expensive) motorcycles like this Isomoto 250.
Finding information on this bike was difficult, but from what I can gather it had a 2 piston (twingle) engine that displaced 236cc and produced 10 horsepower. If anyone knows better, please state otherwise in the comments! This specific bike last ran 6 months ago, but the seller says it just needs a new battery and a tank flush before it’ll be good to go. The paint is pretty rough but I adore the current cosmetic condition – it just looks purposeful. Run it till it dies and then consider making it look brand new again.
