7-26-15 Update: This XLCH was relisted on eBay several times and then finally pulled off of eBay, final sale price unknown. Now it’s back up from a different seller with bidding up to $6,900 and the reserve not yet met

The Harley-Davidson Sportster XLCH was one of the classic HD’s featuring the usual V-Twin powerplant. Some people claim the CH stands for ‘Competition Hot’. Built by Rodsmith Customs, this a a custom Cafe Racer built with a XLCH base.

The original MSRP was around $1,600, it weighed 452 pounds, and Harley overstated engine displacement to make the bike seem more powerful than it was. The 883cc engine produced 50 horsepower and was capable of pushing the CH up to 120 miles per hour.
