The Moto Guzzi Dingotre was a three-wheeler pickup powered by a 49cc single-cylinder engine. Designed as a delivery carrier for use in small Italian villages, the small motor size and three wheels enabled individuals without a license to legally operate it. These bikes are quite rare, and information is hard to find. This is quite possibly one of the only Dingotre’s in the United States.

1966 Moto Guzzi Dingotre

The Moto Guzzi Dingotre was only produced from 1965-1968. At the time, Moto Guzzi was financially struggling, and this was one of the several bikes they built with the 49cc engine in an attempt to provide a wide variety of options at minimal cost. These bikes were all built under the “Dingo” surname, the Moto Guzzi Dingotre obviously refers to the three wheels of this bike.
