Post Listing Update: This V7 did not meet reserve with 24 bids up to $5,200.

Moto Guzzi’s Ambassador was a hit with the US motorcycling press, who saw it as an excellent platform that was well designed for touring with a large fuel tank and comfortable seat.

The Ambassador featured a 757cc V-Twin that produced 60 horsepower. Top speed was around 100 miles per hour but trying to hit that mark wasn’t the point of this bike. With a long, 57.5 inch wheelbase, 575 pound wet weight, and a driveshaft, this bike was about smooth touring. For more information on the Ambassador, check out this article on Motorcycle Classics.

This example (VIN: 13140) has 36,185 miles on the odometer and the seller says he adds to that number every weekend. He claims the bike is in mint condition though a small spot on the right side of the crankcase was welded before he took ownership. It comes with a luggage rack, saddle bags, leg fairings, and a fairing reminiscent of the BMW R90S.
