Post-Sale Update: After 19 bids on eBay, this bike sold for just $995.

The 1971 Suzuki T350R was an evolution of the Suzuki T350 that had been introduced in 1969. Despite the name, this bike was actually powered by a 315cc parallel twin 2-stroke engine that was capable of reaching 60mph in just over 6 seconds, and was actually capable of hitting the ton.

Oddly enough, there’s not that much information out there on these little bikes, but we’ve spent some time on a beat-up example and still had a great time. It’s light, it’s surprisingly quick (nearly 40 horsepower), and the awful drum brakes of the time mean you’ve got to be planning your next moves like a chess match – well in advance! Looking for more information? Here’s the best source we could find.

Suzuki T350 Rebel - Gauges

This specific Suzuki T350 is in great shape. It works as you’d expect, and is almost 100% original – all the original parts are still there, but the tank and side covers have been repainted. Not bad at all. These T350’s are hard to find nowadays, and this is probably as solid of an original one as you’ll find for a long time. The owner notes that it may use a tune-up. Normally a seller that can’t bothered to have the tune-up pre-sale drives us nuts, but with no reserve and such a low price, we’ll have to let this one slide.
