3 Mile Original – 1975 Husqvarna CR 360

Back in the day, everybody that rode in the dirt lusted for a Husqvarna. They may not have always been the fastest, but they always looked good.

The CR series started life as a 400cc bike but was downsized to a 360 for 1975. Ridden by legendary riders, Husky bikes won numerous World Titles in the ‘60s and ‘70s. Built in Sweden, they were known for their craftsmanship and good looks as much as their performance.

Husqvarna CR360 - Right Side

Husqvarna Motorcycles has been sold several times since this bike was built. They were a part of the MV Agusta company until sold to BMW Motorcycles in 2009. Just the thought of Husky beauty and BMW engineering makes me dizzy, though in 2013 they sold Husky to KTM.

This particular example (VIN: ML03524) is listed as a “3 mile original”. It is pristine and near perfect. A very rare piece that is as close to perfection as you are liable to find.
