Post Sale Update: This Guzzi cafe sold for $7,100 after 21 bids on eBay.

Built by Unique Cycles out of Monrovia, California, this cafe’d Guzzi blends some iconic styling designs of past MGs (LeMans fairing, replica V7 Sport tank) with some touches from typical modern builds like a LED taillight integrated into the rear frame. How do you think it ended up?

The builders started with what I believe was a Le Mans 1000, featuring double Dell’Orto 40mm carbs and a 5-speed transmission. The bike has 22,000 miles when it was acquired, and then the shop “completely disassembled” it. IN the process of rebuilding it, the engine got new pistons, cylinders, gaskets, and seals. The brake system was rebuilt with stainless steel lines, and as noted above, the tank is an Italian replica of the V7 Sport made out of fiberglass. The tail section has been cleaned up, the headers are handmade, the seat is custom, and the bike has a new headlight. The original gauges are still intact but they’ve been moved around a bit:
