Post Sale Update: Blood Diamond sold for $24,100 after 54 bids on eBay.
Built by Ryan Grossman of Vintage Dreams, this Knucklehead chopper is called “Blood Diamond”. It started as a numbers matching 1946 EL and it’s been transformed into an interesting custom.
Highlights of the build include a narrowed springer front end, Shack Cycles rhinestone seat, Matt Busby paint job, rebuilt 96 cubic inch motor, ’48 wishbone frame, and the interesting cocktail shaker exhaust. Ryan says it took him 9 months to build this chopper and that it “has won multiple shows” such as Born Free 9, David Mann’s Chopperfest, and the Denver’s Choppers Street Vibrations Show in Reno.
