Back in October, I featured a lovely R69S that had been restored by Vech at Bench Mark Works. It sold and I didn’t think any more about it until I was at the Quail this weekend and I was approached by Wendy Newton, the lady behind Helmets n’ Heels. She told me that she had bought this wonderful bike, and she got to pick it up when she was at the Barber Vintage Festival!
The next day I happened to catch her at Rob Talbott’s amazing new motorcycle museum and she had her bike with her. I had to get a photo.
These stories really make my day – so please let me know if (when?) you buy a motorcycle I’ve featured. Give me purpose in life!
