Custom Thunderbolt – 1996 Buell ST2

In America, Custom by AbhiLeave a Comment

Motorcycle.com called the Buell ST2 Thunderbolt a touring sport bike (rather than the usual sport-touring nomenclature) because they felt Buell gave you a sport bike that had some touring features. This custom build keeps the ST2 name and motor…but not much else. What do you think about it?

There’s obviously been a lot of work done here. The highlights include Ohlins rear shocks, a 39mm front end with Speed Merchant preload adjusters and Race Tech gold emulators, Protaper bars, Supertrapp exhaust, Scotts steering damper, 11.5″ front disc brake, modified Sportster tank, and a one off seat. The motor has new rings, gaskets, pushrods, and cams, and the transmission has been torn apart, checked, and put back together.

Find this custom Buell for sale here on Craigslist in Worcester, Massachusetts for $6,800.
