The builder of this bike wanted to create a ‘custom desert racer that held true to its roots and didn’t appear very custom at all.’ How do you think he did?

Starting with a ’66 T120, the builder threw in a T140 750cc engine with a TR6 single-carb head. The reasoning for this was the slight decrease in power was well worth the ease of regular maintenance and roadside service. Dr. John’s Motorcycle Frame Straightening performed a lot of work – the frame was straightened, the sub-frame was modified so you don’t bang your inner thigh against it, and the swing arm was reinforced to put up with more abuse. This bike also features Husky hubs and brakes, NOS Borrani rims, Buchanan spokes, Ceriani forks worked over by Linderman Engineering, Trackmaster fiberglass tank, a 520 chain conversion, and an Electric Racing electronic ignition and magneto. The motor has less than 50 miles on it after a rebuild.
