Jeff Weier Resto – 1972 Suzuki TS400 Apache

Post Listing Update: 3 bids on eBay up to $5,385 weren’t enough to meet reserve.

Built between 1972 and 1979, the TS400 was the largest of Suzuki’s two-stroke off-road family. Suzuki had a wide range of “T” bikes – TM was for motocross, TC, was for trail, TF was for farm, and TS was the enduro. The 400 produced 34 horsepower and 29.7 pound-feet of torque. Dry weight was 277 pounds, and Suzuki guaranteed their product with a 12 month, 12,000 mile warranty. This example was restored by noted Suzuki expert Jeff Weier, and it’s been in the seller’s collection since.

Suzuki called it “the fastest dirt bike you can ride in the street.” With a top speed of 80-85 miles per hour, that probably wasn’t true. But when has that stopped a marketing department?

This example (VIN: TS40014835) is a first year model that has one mile on the odometer and looks excellent. Find this Apache for sale in Ormond Beach, Florida with an unmet opening bid of $5,000
