Built by Sartorie Meccaniche, this custom based on a Buell X1 Lightning is called “La Belva” – which translates to “Wild Beast.” The builders say it’s “American power with a British flavor mixed up with Italian taste.” What do you think of it?
The build features a new subframe with LED lighting, Tommaselli bars, Motogadget speedometer, and more. My favorite modification is the fiberglass Norton endurance racing tank, which has a clear strip on each side to function as a fuel gauge. Fans of fuel injection will be disappointed as the stock EFI has been replaced with a single carb. This bike has been featured on several websites, including BikeEXIF, Rocket Garage, Inazuma Cafe Racer, and even the book the The Ride 2nd Gear.
