Post Sale Update: After 4 bids on eBay, this Ducati sold for $6,500.

Built by Jon F. Thompson (former Feature Editor at Cycle World) and featured in his book “Ducati” (co-written with Joe Bonnello), this Ducati 350 was prepared to compete in AHRMA Sportsman.

For a preview of Jon and Joe’s book, check out Google Books. The motor was built by Mike Green of West Coast British. The seller raced this on and off – in the seller’s words this bike (VIN: DM350WCBR7/951) ‘is fast, fun, totally reliable and built with the best of everything.’ Some of those components include Ceriani GP forks with Race Tech Gold Valve internals, Tomaselli clipons, Magura levers, Scitsu electronic tach, YZ250 throttle, Sun aluminum rims, 36mm Dell’Orto carb, Boyer Bransden ignition, Works shocks, and plenty more. With that said, the seller notes that you’ll want to go through this Ducati before you run it, and that an exhaust mount bracket will need to be welded.
