A French manufacturer from 1917 to 1959, Monet & Goyon started by building carriages for disabled WWI vets. They built their first motorcycle in 1922, and they enjoyed some racing success in the Bol D’or. Here’s an example of the 100cc S3GD that will need some work.

This bike has apparently never been registered for the road and it’s been in storage for several years. The S3GD was a twin-port model that’s rare even in Europe and I think it’s absolutely lovely. It features the optional footshifter, original tire pump, and a stereotypically French basket.
