Yamaguchi used to crank out a whole bunch of 2-wheelers based around a 49cc engine, though eventually they went out of business and Hodaka took over. Here’s one of their tiny bikes – an Auto-Pet.
For a little more information on Yamaguchi, check out this history from Classic Jap Cycles. This Auto-Pet (VIN: AP-103844) is one of very few examples in the US, though it hasn’t run since 2013. It was originally bought by a US serviceman in Taiwan, who brought it to the US but didn’t register it here. The seller acquired it in 2011, ran it around a bit, then drained the fuel and stored it.
