No Reserve – 2006 BMW HP2 Enduro

In Dual-Sport, Germany by AbhiLeave a Comment

Post Sale Update: This HP2 Enduro sold for $15,910 after 19 bids on eBay.

One of the biggest issues with eBay is how easy it is for a seller to pull a bike early for any (in)valid reason. So it’s nice to see this seller, who guarantees his cool HP2 Enduro will be finding a new owner.

The HP2 Enduro took the R1200GS engine and CANBUS electronics but instead utilized a trellis frame and normal forks to become 53 pounds lighter (impressive) and somehow even uglier (also impressive, just in a different sense of the word). This example has 2,666 miles and is in good shape, though it has 2 issues – the low fuel light stays on, and the anti-theft key antenna ring has failed, so the seller has gone with a true dual-sport fix by securing the new antenna with a zip-tie.
