A pair of Moto Guzzi 1100 Sports

In Italy, Sport by AbhiLeave a Comment

One of my favorite Guzzis, the 1100 Sport was a beautiful deviation from what people expect from the Italian firm. This is one of the earlier models, which comes with gigantic 40mm Dell’Orto’s instead of electronic injection (denoted as the 1100i). The engine produced 90 horsepower and the 5-speed transmission was geared very tall, so you could hit nearly 140. This also means that when you’re in-town, you’re only really using 1st and 2nd. As a ’96 model, you’ll get plenty of upgrades to fix reliability issues that plagued the ’95 bikes. Specs include a straight-cut gearbox, Marzocchi M1 forks, WP rear shock, and an intake noise that will make you giggle every time you’ve got the throttle pinned. This specific Sport has just under 12,000 miles and comes with a full stainless steel Staintune exhaust. The only flaw is some rash on the left side fairing after the bike was once rested on a brick wall.

But wait, there’s more! From the same seller comes a newer, injected model – the 1100i Sport. This example has 31,646 miles and comes with an unnamed carbon fiber pipe. Other than that, it’s stock and in good shape. Find this 1100i Sport for sale in Wichita Falls, Texas with bidding up to $3,050 and the reserve not yet met
