Picture Intermission – 2nd Annual OG Moto Show Preview

I missed the Outlier’s Guild Moto Show last year because it was the same weekend of the Quail, but yesterday I got to check out a preview event and I have to say I’m impressed. If you’re local to LA and have an opportunity to go today (Saturday, March 31st), I’d say it’s well worth the $10 ticket at the gate ($5 if you bought it in advance). I asked Nathan to snap some photos of a few of my favorite bikes from the event for those of you that can’t make it…

A Yamaha WR450F that’s been given a classic Paris-Dakar treatment. It was built by Evan Scott of Iron Cobras in a partnership with Answer Racing, and it’s awesome. More information in this story on BikeEXIF.

There’s a little bit of everything. Kawasaki brought out their 2016 Flat Track Grand National Championship Winner.

Remember Aniket Vardhan and the incredible custom V-Twin motor he built out of two Royal Enfield singles? Builder Max Hazan has now created his second bike around that motor, and like all of his work, it’s a stunner. The build is called the Musket II and you can get more info on Pipeburn.

Max sits on his creation.

JSK Moto brought a couple of bikes, but “Project Rhodium Omega” stands out because it’s so unique. Starting with a Yamaha GTS1000 (which came from the factory with James Parker’s “RADD” front suspension design, this bike requires multiple walkarounds to appreciate fully.

I’ve just been sharing photos of entire motorcycles, but some of the coolest stuff is in the details, like this sissy bar topper.

The show runs from 12pm-9pm today and there are a ton more bikes to check out, including part of the MotoDoffo collection, a helmet showcase, and an art gallery. What are you still doing here? Go head on over!
