Rally Prepped – 2012 Honda ST1300

Starting with a Honda ST1300, the seller of this bike “spared no expense” when he turned it into a bike that would let you be competitive in something like the Iron Butt Rally. There are $15,000 worth of parts on this thing, and it features one of the craziest cockpit views I’ve ever seen.

A quick summary of the modifications include two sets of Clearwater lights connected to police switchgear, two seats of Garmin GPS units (665 and 590 LM), iPad mini, Rotopax tank, Helibars, Pelican case, Russell seat, a total of 11.3 gallons of fuel, Escort MAX radar detector, a 4G cell phone booster with trucker antenna (!)…the list just goes on and on, it’s utter insanity. The craziest thing has to be a rider cooling/heating system based on CoolShirt clothing with bar mounted controls.

The build took a year and it’s ready to go. For more photos, check out the seller’s SmugMug album. Find this ST for sale here on ADVRider for $16,500 in New Hampshire.
