Post Listing Update: This Brutale was pulled off of eBay because “the item was lost or broken.”

The MV Agusta Brutale is an exquisite bike that garners a lot of attention – doubly so when adorned in orange, the rarest color offered in 2008. Estimates online peg the total number imported to be between 25 and 45 that year, though I have not been able to find official confirmation from MV. Point is, it’s a low number. Plus, I just love the name “Brutale” for a naked motorcycle.

The name should make it clear that this features a 910cc inline four motor. It was derived from the F4 superbike and it produces 136 horsepower. It’s partnered with a 6-speed transmission, 50mm Marzocchi forks, a Sachs shock, and six-piston Nissin brakes. For more on the 910S, check out this review from MCN – they call it “the mother of all Sunday bikes; expensive, impractical, temperamental, and utterly brilliant.”

This bike has some expensive extras, including a $3,200 full titanium exhaust with race ECU and some carbon fiber pieces. It has just under 27,000 miles and according to the seller the only issue the bike has had during that time was a broken $5 shift return spring (it’s not clear if the seller is the original owner).
