In Japan, Sport by Abhi2 Comments

The Honda CBR1000F was a long-lived sport tourer that did everything well, but offered less in excitement than its competition from Kawi or Suzuki. With 135 horsepower, it was good for 155 miles per hour and in this case, a patriotic paint job.

It’s hard to go wrong with the CBR1000F, also known as the Hurricane. You can easily get 75k out of the engine before you’ll need to worry about wear. The ’89 models got a refresh, with crash protection, new bodywork, and a tweaked engine that brought a few more horsepower to the party. You could expect a 11.3 second quarter mile time and 40 miles per gallon – not bad for a nearly 25-year old bike.

This specific Honda CBR1000F looks good, plain and simple. It’s stock with the exception of an addition Corbin seat. Mileage isn’t listed, but the seller says that it’s been garage kept all its life – hard to dispute with how the bike looks in the photos.
