Rob North Framed – 1970 BSA 750

In England, Race by Abhi1 Comment

Post-Listing Update: This Rob North Triumph did not meet reserve despite 32 bids up to $20,100.

Fans of British bikes don’t need a reminder of who Rob North is, though he still isn’t as well-known as he should be. His frame designs with BSA, Triumph, and others propelled race manufacturers to race victories at the highest levels. His work lives on – Miles Engineering produced licensed copies for years, and today you can still get a Rob North frame from either Trident MCS in England or even from Rob North himself, if you’re lucky.

This (VIN: RN007019) is one of the latter bikes, built by Rob North himself in 2010. The engine was built by Triple Tecs – 750cc with Venolia pistons, Carillo rods, Megacycle cams, and plenty more. Everything is claimed to be ‘new and in perfect condition’, with the bike ready to be raced or shown.
