In addition to a multitude of one-off customs, Deus has some ‘signature’ builds for specific models that anyone can call up and order. The signature build for Yamaha’s SR400/500 is the Grievous Angel, amusingly adorned in what Deus calls “Henry Ford pink” – a reference to Ford’s famous quote, “Any customer can have a car painted any color that he wants so long as it is black.”
Features of the standard build include a bullet fairing, Nitroheads solo seat/tracker tank, gold brake calipers, a beadblasted engine case, K&N pod air filters, and more. This example has additional goodies such as OHlins rear shocks, a 525cc big bore kit, braided brake lines, and an oil temperature gauge. It was built in 2010 and the donor bike is a ’77 Yamaha SR500.
