1951 Indian Chief Roadmaster
A rare bike from a glorious marque. Nobody knows exactly how many Indians were made in the 1950s, but by 1951 the Chief was the only model left in production, and not many were made. All production ceased in 1953.

The ME-100 featured a Fuji F500K engine, which displaced 97cc. In 1974, the ME-100 got upgraded to a 22mm carb, and power went through a 5-speed transmission. If you’re curious, here’s a digital scan …

In the past I’ve done written reviews of bikes (and don’t worry, there’s one of those coming up for the Scout in a few days), but thanks to the talents of my friends Aaron Schasse and Nathan May, I’ve also got a video of our adventure to share. Hope you …
Barn Find – 1912 Indian Twin
