I should know better than to even look at a HD on eBay. They are almost always wildly optimistic with their price and condition. I could see bling in the thumbnail, and I clicked. But this FL is one of those rare Harley’s that has been customized with out chopping or bobbing or wild paint or ape hangers or any of that. It was upgraded to be used on the street.

The 1950 Hydra Glide was the second year of the model, ‘49 being the first year that the motor company ever put a name on any model. Named for the front suspension, it was still a hardtail rear, and came with the standard panhead 74 CID V-Twin.

Modifications include:
Hydraulic disc brakes, front and back.
12 volt electrics with an alternator.
Electronic ignition.
Hydraulic clutch with Kevlar plates.
Belt primary drive.
Halogen lights.
LED tombstone tail light.
Akront wheels.

But wait, there’s more! The listing is just incredible.

It still looks like a 1950 Hydra Glide. Pull this bike into your local show and the swirl around it will be incredible. Guaranteed.

The reserve on this FL isn’t met, but the starting bid is intriguing at $10,000. Hagerty valuation has a stock valuation for a #3 bike at $15,000. The bike is located in Tucson, Arizona

If you want a local evaluation, I’d be happy to jump on that grenade. Just let me know.
