Post Sale Update: This custom Guzzi sold for $8,000 after 16 bids on eBay.

Known as the Jackal in Europe, the V11 Bassa was Moto Guzzi’s “Cruiser Italiana”. They said it had “attitude with atmosphere” and it was designed to add some Italian style to the cruiser market that America so thoroughly enjoyed. Yet none of that really seems to matter in this case, as a Bassa has been converted into a “V10 Sport” as a tribute to the seller’s previous V7 Sport. On top of that, it’s been set up with a sidecar from Perry’s Sidecars. How do you think it all came together?

The 1,064cc V-twin in the Bassa produces 77 horsepower and 70 lb-ft of torque. It weighed 545 pounds dry and had a MSRP of $11,290. This example (VIN: ZGUKDBKD3XM130959) was built by the seller as a tribute to his V7 Sport, and it features a V7 Sport tank, seat, and rear fender. There’s lot of modifications here – a headlight from a 70s Eldorado, custom Buchanan wheels to allow for modern tires, upgraded brakes, motor work which includes titanium pushrods, Ferraci pistons, and Power Commander. The sidecar setup was built from scratch and is bolted on to the frame. It can be removed in a few hours.
