Last week I featured a list from Gizmag about the 100 most expensive bikes that had sold/gone up at auction. Paul D’Orleans rightfully pointed out that he’s been keeping a (more accurate) list for much longer.
Now that the Captain America bike sold for a staggering $1.62 million to take its place at the top of the list, I figured it was time to share Paul’s list of the top 20 motorcycle sale prices at public auction.
To illustrate how crazy the Captain America sale price was – the former #1 spot on Paul’s list is the above pictured (photo from The Vintagent) 1915 Cyclone Board Tracker. It sold for “just” $551,200.
