Post Sale Update: After just 2 bids on eBay, this Chief sold for $15,100.

Flat Tracker builds are popular nowadays – we’ve featured several in the last few weeks – but very few of them have a history like this fantastic purpose-built Chief. It most recently scored a victory at the 1/2 mile in Wauseon, Ohio last year, but it’s got another 7 victories in the bag over the years while being ridden by Aaron Lindfors, Wade Camlin, and George Roeder.

There’s obviously a lot of work that’s been done here, but the highlights include J&E pistons, Carrillo rods, titanium valves, a nickel-plated 4130 Chromoly frame, Works gas shock up front for the girder fork, electronic ignition, and plenty more. 1st gear was removed to save weight, and there’s lots of extra parts and documentation that will be included with the sale.
