Packing 7 speeds in the transmission, the Hercules 250 was an interesting German competitor to the upmarket enduros of the day coming from KTM and Husqvarna.

Basic specifications include 28 horsepower, 19 lb-ft of torque, 2.65 gallon fuel capacity, and a curb weight of 271 pounds. For more on the 250 Enduro, check out this period review of the 1977 model by hosted on Ye Olde Cycle Shoppe.

The seller of this example claims that it was “restored a few years back” and not ridden much since. Everything is said to work but there’s not much detail beyond that. Find this Hercules for sale in East Windsor, Connecticut for $2,900 here on Craigslist.
