The MV Agusta 350S Ipotesi is a classic Italian designed by legendary automotive stylist Giorgio Giugiaro. Nicknamed the Ipotesi (Hypothesis in Italian), it was Giugiaro’s attempt at styling a bike. It was quite advanced for the time – triple disc brakes, cast magnesium wheels, and a 10,000 rpm redline made this 350cc bike a treat to ride.

The 350cc was an air-cooled, two-cylinder unit fed by dual Dell’Orto carburetors. Produced only between 1975 and 1977, the 350 was an instant hit after being revealed at the Milan Motorcycle show. The 350S differed itself with the beautiful fairing, a shortened seat, and a shortened tail that was angled slightly upward. Some came with a rare sport fairing, though this example doesn’t have it. See a previous Ipotesi I featured if you want to know what the fairing looks like (hint: it’s gorgeous).

This MV Agusta 350 Ipotesi has a couple of extra decals than necessary but it looks good. Find it for sale in St. Louis, Missouri here at Michael’s Motorcycles for $9,500.
