View Post1983 Benelli 900 Sei
When the Sei was introduced (as a 750), it was the first production motorcycle featuring a six cylinder engine. By ’78, the Sei got a bump up to 900 and a redesign that included many parts from Moto Guzzi (De Tomaso owned both companies at the time). You had to pay to play – MSRP was $5,406 in ’83 – …
2002 Ghezzi-Brian Furia
Today’s become an unofficial “Guzzi Day” on Bike-urious, though this one did not come directly from Mandello del Lario. Ghezzi-Brian is an interesting shop that produces Guzzi-powered specials. Their debut model was the SuperTwin, a production version of the racer they won the 1996 Italian SuperTwin championship with. Their second model was what you see in front of you, a …

A couple of weeks ago, I had the pleasure of attending an event called Italians Do Them Better for “a day of Italian machines, good food, music and good vibes!” Here’s some of my highlights.
2003 Ghezzi-Brian Folgore Supertwin
Ghezzi-Brian was founded in 1995 by Giuseppe Ghezzi and Bruno Saturno. Within a year they won the Italian SuperTwin championship, thanks to first place finishes in 9 of the 32 races. They took their SuperTwin and built a small run of road-legal replicas with the drivetrain from a Moto Guzzi Sport 1100i. Most of the production run stayed in Italy, …

Here are some of my highlights from the …
1995 Magni Australia
Arturo Magni started working with Moto Guzzi in 1985, and their first project was the “Parallelogrammo” swingarm created to counter the shaft jacking that was common with older driveshaft designs. In 1990, Magni customized a Daytona road racer that was campaigned by Ted Stolarski, Moto Guzzi’s Australian importer for 3 decades. In the early 90s, Magni named their next production …
