View PostLittle, Rare, and Italian – 1991 Gilera CX125
The Gilera CX125 is a really unique little avant-garde motorcycle. Obviously its unorthodox front wheel setup is its most predominant feature, but its space-age full bodywork definitely furthers the adventurousness of the design. The small-bore scoot was built by Gilera, an Italian motorcycle manufacturer founded more than a century ago that was eventually bought by the Piaggio Group. The Arcore-based …

Question Intermission: What Was The “Most Beautiful Bike of Show” at EICMA?
According to the press release I just got from Ducati, it was the new Panigale V4 as it captured over 16,000 votes, or 61.17% of the show. In Canada – A Collection of 20 Classic Italians
A seller in Canada is letting go of his entire collection of Italian motorcycles. There’s big bikes, scooters, and even a brand I’ve never heard of before (Sertum). They’re current on display at his home and all of them were runners before they were put in show mode. With that said, the seller has ridden several within the last 2 …
Bikers Helping Bikers – Restoring “Engaged to Death”
In 1956, Romolo Marcellini created a film called Engaged to Death – “a tale about rivalry and burning passion set in the dangerous and madcap world of two-wheelers.” It’s a fascinating look at 50s Italian race bikes (like the Moto Guzzi V8!) with looks at the manufacturers, racers, and even race strategy. Rodaggio Film has acquired the two existing 35mm …
