1970 Rupp Enduro

In America, Less than 5k, Off-Road, Small Displacement by AbhiLeave a Comment

In the 70s, Rupp was one of the leading producers of minibikes in the US. They introduced the Enduro in 1970 along with a company-wide new design for the frame and carb.

In 1970, Rupp offered five different models: the Roadster, Scrambler, Enduro, Sprint, and Chopper. The Scrambler and Enduro were quite similar although the Enduro got a more powerful 4 horsepower Tecumseh motor (compared to the 3.5 of the Scrambler). Both off-road oriented bikes lost the head/taillights and had a number plate up front instead. For more on Rupp, check out this history on Old Rupps.

This example (VIN: C-101905) has a rebuilt carb, a new seat, and rims that have been sand blasted and painted. I cannot tell if the tank has been repainted or if the lighting is just playing tricks on my eyes. Either way, this is one of the nicer examples I’ve ever seen of a Rupp Enduro, so find it for sale in Hudson, New Hampshire with an unmet opening bid of $1,700 or a BIN of $2,000
