I’m currently in North Carolina for the launch of the updated 2022 Yamaha MT-10. What would you like to know about it?
A few weeks ago, I picked up a Bimota Tesi 3D Final Edition – and it’s the first motorcycle I’ve ever bought with zero miles on it. That meant I had to break it in.
In my recent post about buying the Bimota Tesi 3D, I noted that I still have my BMW HP2 Megamoto. But I haven’t kept you guys updated on the German, so let’s change that!
So…I went a little crazy last week.
Today I’m off to the launch of the new XSR900, which I’m excited about because it theoretically offers the performance of the updated MT-09 (which is very good) without the styling of the updated MT-09 (which is very bad). Whether or not you find the XSR attractive is a different question, but I’m glad to see there’s an styling option …
It’s that wonderful time of year again – the Quail Motorcycle Gathering is tomorrow! Will I see you there?
A few weeks ago, I mentioned that I had recently bought a Brutale 1000 RR out of MV Agusta’s press fleet. Well…I have the opportunity to buy something quirky that’s coming from Australia and I need some space and some money, so the Brutale needs a new home.
If you’ve been following Iconic, you know that we’re huge fans of Scott Russell – and we thought we’d mix things up by offering a signed helmet from his 1996 MotoGP season with Suzuki at no reserve to complement our listing for his 1993 WSBK Championship bike.
Over at Iconic: Adidas and Kawasaki recently partnered up to release a Ninja-themed set of sneakers that they call the ZX8000. Knowing how much my partner Adam loves Ninjas, I had to get him a pair…and then I bought myself a pair just to put on display in my office.
On Thursday evening, the Petersen’s newest exhibit debuts…and it’s all about electric motorcycles! I’ll be there for the opening party – will you?
SBK Stash (name redacted for anonymity) is a Minnesota-based superbike and exotic motorcycle fan and collector. He’s also an awesome dude, and I’m excited to share a little bit of his story with you here today:
Turns out that even with backup, I’ve barely been making any progress on the KZ650 project that I’ve been hoping to resurrect. So now I’m being a good capitalist and just throwing money at the problem. But I’m finally getting results!
UPDATE: Here’s the review! Last week, Cycle News gave me the incredible opportunity to ride something unexpected – the Harley-Davidson Screamin’ Eagle Road Glide that Kyle Wyman won the 2021 King of the Baggers Championship with! What do you want to know about it?
