Back in 2014, @unionmotorcycleclassics built a gor Back in 2014, @unionmotorcycleclassics built a gorgeous Gary Nixon tribute out of a Triumph T120R. A profile on @motorcycleclassics amusingly notes: “When Todd Van Dorn dragged a 1972 Triumph T120RV engine and several boxes of parts—including the stock Triumph oil-bearing spine tube frame and swingarm — to Union Motorcycle Classics in Nampa, Idaho, he thought he wanted a bobber. What he got was something entirely different.” Now this not-a-bobber can be yours, as Union is raffling it off to support @reactsministries!

This bike was originally built “as a tribute to Gary Nixon’s Daytona-winning Triumph 500.” Per Mike Watanabe, one of Union’s partners, it also features a fuel tank that’s an exact replica of the factory time, GFTP replica Avon fairing, Excel rims, Magura aluminum clipons, and numerous one-off parts like the triple clamps, brake lever, and exhaust. The bike “is broken in with about 3,500 miles on the rebuilt motor” and Union bought it from the original owner to use for this fundraiser.

You can snag 10 entries for $30, 25 entries for $60, 100 entries for $225…you get the idea. I just got 10 for myself, and if you want to give it a shot you can follow the link in bio. The drawing date is July 10th – good luck!

This @ducatiusa 888 SP4 is one of the best bikes I This @ducatiusa 888 SP4 is one of the best bikes I've had the pleasure of writing up for an auction on @iconicmotorbikes.

This SP4 (VIN: ZDM1SADM4NB001167, Engine #: ZDM888W4001331) is #273 of the production run, and it has just over 25k miles. It was imported from the UK and is offered by the third owner.

The best part? It's been titled in California with a new 17 digit VIN which "retains the original 001167 frame number as the last 6 digits."

Upgrades include Brembo GP master cylinders, Ohlins steering damper, aftermarket exhausts, and even a magnesium clutch side engine case cover.

Currently located in Santa Barbara, California, this 888 is offered on a clear California title on non-op registration. Link in bio if you want to bid!

When you’re a world champion and you want to sho When you’re a world champion and you want to show off your stuff, why not create a museum that includes some memorabilia from your buddies, your heroes, and even a rival or two? Jorge Lorenzo tried it for himself – the #99 he wore in MotoGP inspired the name. ⠀
⠀
Vy and I encountered this museum while we were on a 2-up vacation through the Iberian Peninsula. Near the end of our trip, we stopped in the capital of Andorra and I was surprised to discover Jorge’s museum right across the street from our hotel. We had to check it out, right?⠀
⠀
1.) The entrance is on the first floor, where you’ll find a restaurant and bar. Ask to go to the museum and you’ll have to pay a small fee and then take some stairs to the second floor. ⠀
⠀
2.) The exhibit starts with some of Lorenzo’s MotoGP idols with basic stats and their riding suits.⠀
⠀
3.) All hail King Kenny. I had the chance to speak with him once for about 30 seconds – he spent the whole time telling me how much he liked Indian food.⠀
⠀
4.) Freddie Spencer’s iconic Arai.⠀
⠀
5.) It’s not a large building, but a dedicated MotoGP fan could easily spend 30-60 minutes here poring through all the details – this one photo is about a third of what’s on offer.⠀
⠀
6.) Jorge’s 2015 championship-winning bike was on display. A label on the glass states that this bike made 256 horsepower and weighed just 348 pounds.⠀
⠀
7.) He’s also got plenty of awards for winning Pole Position at individual races. It’s not clear from the angle, but each case is a mini-helmet.⠀
⠀
8. and 9.) One of my favorite sections was the different gear that Jorge has won over the years, especially because I’m a sucker for helmet designs.⠀
⠀
10.) My personal favorite was the “Astronaut”. Note how it says “GANA” in the NASA font – that’s Spanish for the verb “win.”⠀
⠀
Unfortunately, Jorge's museum closed in early 2019. But I hope you enjoyed this little photo gallery - link in bio for more from his ex-museum!⠀

The @aprilia_americas Tuono 660 is finally here! ⠀
⠀
Can't say I'm in love with the styling as much as I was with the RS660 (and why did they get rid of Lava Red?!), but otherwise it looks like all the other stuff I love about the RS remains with the bonus of comfier ergos with the handlebar instead of clipons and a shorter final drive.⠀
⠀
Wonder how difficult it would be to swap the Tuono bars/triple tree onto a Lava Red RS660...⠀
⠀

@bmwmotorrad's first production motorcycle (or veh @bmwmotorrad's first production motorcycle (or vehicle, for that matter) was the 1923 R32. Over the next three years, the Germans would go on to make 3,090 examples. How many are left today? Experts suggest 40, but no one really knows for sure. What is certain is how many Peter Nettesheim owns – eight, including #22 off the assembly line. Why is that significant? Because 1-21 don’t exist anymore.⠀
⠀
That’s right – Peter owns the oldest BMW in existence.⠀
⠀
He also happens to have an example of every single model from 1923 through 1970, plus a few "newer" ones, some cars, and an incredible taste for period tools and collectibles that perfectly match the bikes on display. Hell, there's even a "1946" BMW - the cookware in photo #3 as BMW wasn't allowed to make motorcycles that year!⠀
⠀
Swipe through for some highlights, then hit the link in bio for the full story on this incredible private collection of BMW's.⠀
