One of the few 100% Italian Bimotas of the 90s, the DB2 featured a 900cc 2 valve Ducati engine (best known for its usage in the 900SS).

The successor to the DB1, this bike shows off a bit more of the distinctive frame, and stood out from even its Ducati sibling with incredible handling thanks to top notch components. It came with 41mm Paioli forks and a rear Ohlins shock, both fully adjustable. The air-cooled V-Twin yielded 86 horsepower (a slight upgrade from the 900SS thanks to a different intake and exhaust system. Weighing just 370 pounds, nearly every press reviewed ended with a comment that this was the best Bimota yet. Want to learn more? Check out this summary from Sports Car Market in 2009.

This example has 15,102 miles on the odometer and it was recently serviced (at 14,700 miles) with a valve adjustment, new belts, new chain, new tires, a lithium battery, and clear belt covers. The sale includes two keys, the tool kit, and the owner’s manual. The seller notes some cracks in the bodywork, adding that he rides it once a year to a local motorcycle show. HOpefully the next owner will ride it a bit more frequently!
