As part of my event recap from the AHRMA race at Inde, I shared one of the many planes they had on site. A few people wanted to see more, and even though this isn’t a plane-focused site, it doesn’t seem unreasonable to enjoy some fighter jets on the 4th of July! Though I guess you may not see this post until the daily newsletter goes out tomorrow…
I have to admit that I don’t know a ton about jet fighters except that they’re very cool. So instead of me posting some photos and interjecting little quips that add nothing to the story, I’ll just hit you with a photo of the plane and then a photo of the corresponding info sign so we can all learn together. With that in mind, here are (most of) the planes on display at Inde Motorsports Ranch, in no particular order:
This Crighton CR700W doesn’t count as a jet, but it sure is fast!
The exhaust shape pays tribute to the fact that it’s a rotary-powered machine.
