In Germany, Standard by AbhiLeave a Comment

Horex introduced the Regina in 1953, and it was available in 250, 350, and 400cc variants. Production lasted until Daimler took over Horex in 1960.

The 350 (342cc) air-cooled single produced 19 horsepower, good for a top speed of 70 miles per hour. Dry weight was just under 320 pounds. For more on the 350 Regina, check out this article on Motorcycle Classics.

This example (VIN: 03835454R) has just 785 miles after a restoration done approximately 12 years ago. The seller imported the bike from Germany in 2007. At that point the bike had a Steib sidecar, and though the seller took it off the mounting points are still intact. According the seller, this bike works just fine. Extras include a Denfeld bench seat, BUMM barend mirror, and apparently some “high shoulder aluminum sport rims.”
