1955 Vincent Black Knight

In England, Touring by AbhiLeave a Comment

Designer Phil Vincent called this “a two-wheeled Bentley“, but when Shane A submitted this to me just now he said that “it’s kinda like if Darth Vader had a head-on with a 50’s motorcycle.” That’s an amusing summation of the Vincent Black Knight, which was built to be the ultimate sports tourer – a Black Rapide with ample bodywork to keep a rider protected from the elements.

The seller of this example has had it for 23 years, and he had it “set aside in my shop storage since returning her from the UK.” It’s 1 of 388 examples of Vincent’s full bodywork motorcycles, and it’s equipped with an Alton electrical system, dual front heads, Mac Read breather system, a full external rear rack, and Craven Comet panniers. It has 47,600 miles and it’s offered with UK registration.

Find this Vincent Black Knight for sale in Lake Forest, Illinois for $86,000 here on Craigslist.
