Post Sale Update: This Big Horn sold for $4,700 after 33 bids on eBay in Dana Point, California.

Introduced in 1970, the Kawasaki Big Horn was Kawasaki’s response to the Yamaha RT-360.

It featured a 346cc two-stroke single good for 28 horsepower, along with a five speed gearbox and one of the earlier implementations of capacitive discharge ignition (CDI). It was designed to be a do-it-all bike – for more information on the Big Horn, check out this write-up from Classic Jap Cycles.

This example (VIN: F5F13176) has been “restored with OEM parts to include polished engine cases, stainless steel spokes, and re-chroming of all factory chrome.” The seller says that the bike starts on the first kick and runs as new.
