Between 1991 and 1995, BMW produced 20,898 examples of the R100R – one of the last airhead boxers to ever wear a roundel on the tank. Basic specifications include a 980cc air-cooled twin with an oil cooler, Brembo brakes, a 5-speed transmission, and shaft drive.

This example (VIN: WB1048704N0280289) was acquired by the seller approximately eight years ago, and he became the third owner in the process. The seller has nearly all service records going back to 1992, though he notes this will need to have the tires balanced, carbs adjusted, and the front brake light switch fixed. He adds that he “would be comfortable getting on this bike and riding it anywhere in the country without fear of any mechanical issues.”
