1994 Honda XR250L

In Dual-Sport, Japan by AbhiLeave a Comment

Simple, cheap, and well-preserved: this small XR checks off a lot of boxes!

It wasn’t impressive spec-wise even when it came out 16 years ago, but 30 horsepower, 11.8″ of ground clearance, and a wet weight of 291 pounds combine for excellent basic dual-sporting that’ll beat most cars from the light and get you where you need to go on the trails. Plus Honda stuffed these with some solid features for the price: 6-speed transmission, adjustable shock, and a cush drive rear hub. And there’s a kickstarter for the days you need it as a backup or just want to feel cool…

This example has just 2,783 miles and it features a smog delete with “all the necessary modifications to make it run awesome. You won’t find a better running stock 250L.”
