Well Farkled – 2011 KTM 530 XC-W SixDays

The KTM 530 XC-W SixDays was already an impressive dual-sport from the factory, but this specific example has been customized beyond belief to turn it into the ultimate trail bike.

KTM 530 XC-W SixDays - Cockpit

It can be confusing to keep track of KTM’s model range, but the 530 wasn’t a true dual-sport in the sense of 50-50. Rather, it was a dirtbike that you could throw a license plate on, so you could run it on the street. Original MSRP was just under $9,000, and that bought you a bike with a 510cc 4-stroke engine that weighed just 247 pounds dry. The included components were great, with features like WP suspension, but the owner of this bike apparently didn’t think that was good enough!

This specific KTM 530 XC-W SixDays has some of the best modifications I’ve seen on an adventure bike, no matter the manufacturer. Scotts steering damper, Gatos Bros riser setup, Trail Tech giant headlight, KTM Fan Kit, Works Connection Skid Plate, KTM 6 gallon tank…the list goes on, seemingly forever. In addition, you’ll get hand guards, a tank bag, and luggage bag from Giant Loop. As long as you’re packing light, this bike is ready to go…pretty much anywhere.
