Post Sale Update: This TW200 sold for $3,403.53 after 16 bids on eBay in Ocala, Florida.
The TW200 has basically been the same since it was introduced in 1987 – there was a minor update in 2001 but even the 2021 model is still carbureted so it’s not like you’re missing out on much if you buy an old one compared to one in the dealership.
This example (VIN: JYA3AWE08MA022619) has just 313 miles and it’s said to start and run great. It has a new battery and the CV carb and air cleaner are from a newer gen (2001-2017) T-Dub. “A few scratches from being moved around, no dents. This TW200 was never dumped.” It’s offered by the original owner, who actually bought two TS200s in 1991, both of which have less than 400 miles. In fact, he’s offering the second up to the winner of this auction for the same price that this sells for, if they’re interested.
