The second generation of the Honda Express, the NA50 was sold between ’79 and ’81. It shared the 49cc two stroke and automatic transmission of every other Express model, but featured a slightly bigger gas tank and a more comfortable seat and handle bars.
The Express was Honda’s solution to the gas crisis in America, trying to provide an economical and street-legal way to get around. Designed for beginners, each Express had an automatic transmission and oil pump to eliminate pre-mixing, trying to make the experience as easy as possible for 2-wheeling newbies.
This example has just 49 miles on it and the selelr says it runs perfectly thanks to a recent carb clean and new tires/tubes. It was last registered in 1980 and the seller says that you “probably never gonna find one nicer with less miles.” His pricing reflects that claim.
