In the world of Norton Commando restorations, Colorado Norton Works is considered one of the premier names – if you’re willing to spend several tens of thousands of dollars. There’s also a wait list of approximately a year for new CNW builds, but if you’re impatient you can pick up #82, which is currently in British Columbia.
Reader David S stopped by Colorado Norton Works on a cross-country road trip, and he kindly shared his experience with a post on this site. This example started as a 1975 Commando with electric starter. Per the seller, the owner of this bike ordered it directly from CNW and has barely used it since he took possession.
