Post Listing Update: did not meet reserve with 29 bids up to $5,700 in Corpus Christi, Texas.

The seller of this CB1100F bought it after it had been sitting in a Texas shed since 1995. He then went about a restoration that he documented on YouTube in which he sanded and polished the original paint to bring it “back to dealership floor condition” and rebuilt several mechanical systems so that it’s ready to hit the road.

The seller makes a big deal about the paint in his listing, noting that the frame was also sanded and polished with a few small touch ups. Highlights of the mechanical work include rebuilt front calipers with new pads, new fork seals, new fork oil, new OEM grips, rebuilt petcock, new fuel lines, rebuilt carbs, new battery, oil/filter change, and the cleaning/lubing of various bearings. Everything looks to be OEM except the reproduction turn signals.

If you’re really interested in this example (VIN: JH2SC1100DM002292), then you’ll appreciate that the seller doesn’t just list out his work, he has videos documenting just about everything, as well as one video that combines everything:
